But success is not what I'd say
Is likely to occur

Our goals must be met
Is not the sort of wager
That I'd call a safe bet
And good luck? There's always luck.

Completely unaware
That it's mandatory
And you know. well maybe you don't?
Do you believe? You believe.

Notes:

Believing in yourself against all odds and that you cannot fail is a good motivator for the things in life about which you are passionate and the dreams/hopes that give your life meaning. However, most things in life are not the key drivers of your soul. It is laughable to hear someone else tell you that "failure is not an option" for some ill-advised, poorly-conceived objective that is in fact very likely to fail.
