The ship will sink no matter what
There is no point in panic
So figure out where to put
Deck chairs on the titanic

And what you build is just for now
Entropy is organic
Have some pride in where you put
Deck chairs on the titanic

And all things will fall apart
The question is just how quick
So make time to symmetrize
Deck chairs on the titanic

It all goes down with the ship
We go down with the ship

And everything that came before
Whether from carrot or stick
All we gain is all we lose
Are deck chairs on the titanic

So build your towers as you wish
Could be concrete, wood, or brick
When the waters rise so high they're just
Deck chairs on the titanic

It all goes down with the ship
We go down with the ship

This kind of speaks for itself I think. I've been writing versions of this song for years, going back to my 2005 album Footprints. I wrote this one when I was finishing Expecting Different Results, but I didn't have time to record it for that record.

Keeping busy is one of the best things you can do to drive away depression. If he wasn't pushing a rock, what else would Sisyphus do with his free time anyway.
