There is no one else who's like you
I really have to say
There is no one else who's like you
I hope it stays that way
I do not need
The games you play

I know a life is something
That we will never share
And there is no one to you
Who I could compare

It's all my fault
For seeing someone you're not
It was my imagination
And that's all I got

There is no one else who's like you
Of that I will conclude
There is no one else who's like you
For that I've gratitude
I do not need
Your attitude

If you wonder why you're alone
And never can connect
Call and I will remind you
I doubt I'll ever forget

You're one of a kind
It's not just the whisky I drank
There's no one like you
And for that I give thanks

There is no one else who's like you
But that does not endear
There is no one else who's like you
For that I will give cheer
The time spent with you
Was my nadir

So you want disconnection
From me and more
But whatever dreams that you're seeking
Might not be in store

There is no one else who's like you
There is no one else who's like you
I hope as I live
That remains true

This album seemed short on snark, so I dug up an old idea and finished it. I've written similar songs to this before, taking a saccharine cliché ("There is no one else who's like you") and torching it ("I hope it stays that way").
